Earth Temple formed many years ago to provide open Wiccan rituals to residents of the northwest quadrant of Denver when no such events were available in that part of town. The organization meets to celebrate Sabbats and New Moons, usually on Saturday nights, but occasionally on a weekend day in the park. The usual meeting place is Ye Olde Firehouse at 3232 Depew St, Wheat Ridge., at 7pm. Donations are requested to cover rental and other costs. Hearthstone Community Church sponsors open Full Moon rituals at the First Unitarian Church at 14th and Lafayette in Denver, usually on the Friday before the full moon each month. Donations are requested to cover the cost of renting the hall. One of the original open ritual groups in Denver, Hearthstone invites different groups to present the ritual each month. The Athena Festival

The Athena Festival is a Goddess festival held on a Sunday in the spring and fall of each year at a hotel facility in Northglenn, on the north side of the Denver Metro area. Beltania Pagan Music Fest and Beltane Festival

Beltania 2010 will occur May 6-9, 2010. Workshops, rituals, multiple musical performances. Nationally recognized headliners! Celebration Metaphysical Fairs

The Celebration Fairs were started 13 years ago by Shanti and Coreen Toll of Colorado Springs. The largest metaphysical fairs in Denver and Colorado Springs; there are two in each city each spring and fall. Denver's fairs are in March (the St Patrick's Day weekend) and in August (the Labor Day weekend), at the Denver Merchandise Mart at 58th and I-25. Admission is $5.00 and includes presentations, entertainment, 60 psychic readers and a huge selection of metaphysical goods for sale. Dragonfest

Approaching it's 25th year, Dragonfest is Colorado's original open, all-ages, campout Wiccan/Pagan festival. It is on Wednesday through Sunday over the second weekend of August each year in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Dragonfest features rituals, workshops, Merchant Row, drumming bonfires, community breakfast, a Stone Soup dinner, a talent show, a clothing-optional area, Drawing Down the Sun and Moon and special programming for children, tweens and teens. Run by a volunteer staff and Board of Directors, Dragonfest is an enormous undertaking hosting up to a thousand attendees each year.

Drumming Up the Sun

Begun years ago by High Plains Church of Wicca, Drumming Up the Sun (DUTS) has become a Front Range tradition. Assembling before sunrise on Winter Solstice at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, the drummers assist with the turning of the Wheel of the Year ("Yule" means wheel) by drumming up the Solstice sunrise. Afterwards the crowd goes out for breakfast and coffee.

Front Range Pagan Pride Day (FRPPD)

FRPPD is the local celebration of the national Pagan Pride Day event. In September of each year, the free FRPPD event offers workshops, vendors, children's programming and ritual. Food is collected onsite for local food banks. The 2010 FRPPD is on Saturday, September 18th. FRPPD also produces other special events and fundraisers throughout the year. FRPPD has a Yahoo Group for ongoing communications

Pagan Night Out

The second Tuesday of each month at 7pm, PNO meets at a Denver restaurant and bar (currently Las Margaritas at 1035 E 17th Ave, Denver) for socializing and an auction of donated goods for charity. The raffle begins at 9pm. No cost, except for any food or beverage you may purchase. As an ongoing charity project, PNO has created a small, local food bank.(See listings under Community Outreach).

The Witches' Ball and Midnight Samhain Ritual

In it's 19th year, the Witches' Ball fills up the Masonic Temple at 35th and Federal in Denver with an all-ages Samhain celebration with merchants, psychic readers, live bands, bellydancing, ritual, community organizations, food and refreshment sales, a costume contest for children and adults and a room for ecstatic drumming and dancing. The Ball costs $15.00 per adult and $5.00 for children 6 to 12. Children under 6 are free. From 7pm until midnight, the Ball is followed by a free, open, midnight Samhain ritual at the same location, sponsored by the producer of the Ball; Jacqueline Weller (see listings under Healers, Hypnotherapy and Psychics) and written and performed by a different coven, church or group each year. (See listings under Open Rituals). The 2010 Witches' Ball is on Saturday, October 23rd.

Loveland Open Drum Circle

All drummers are welcome and children under parental control. This fun and informal gathering meets in the old Majestic Opera House where the sound is amazing!
